Leadership Roles
Overview

Assigning Roles
- Go to Membership → Adults
- Click on the adult’s name
- Click the Roles tab
- Click Add Role
- Select the role and click Save
Multiple Roles
An adult can hold multiple roles simultaneously. For example:
- A Scoutmaster might be both Administrator and Leader
- A parent who handles finances might be User + Treasurer
Permissions from all assigned roles are combined — the adult gets access to everything any of their roles grants.
Removing Roles
- Open the adult’s profile → Roles tab
- Click Remove next to the role
- Access is revoked immediately
Tips
- Always maintain at least one Administrator
- Roles apply per-unit — if someone belongs to multiple units, roles are separate for each
- When an adult is archived, their roles are removed
