Invite Users

Overview

Once you’ve added adults to your unit (either manually or via CSV import), you can invite them to create their own login so they can access Scout Manager.

Required role: Administrator or Leader

How Invitations Work

  1. You add an adult with their email address
  2. They navigate to the registration page and sign up with that same email
  3. Scout Manager automatically links them to your unit based on their email
  4. Their role and permissions are already set up — they just log in and go

Steps

1. Ensure Email Addresses Are Set

Each adult who needs to log in must have an email address in their profile. Go to Membership → Adults and verify emails are filled in.

Send your adults the registration URL: https://www.scoutmanager.com/app/register

They’ll create their account using the same email address you have on file. Scout Manager will automatically associate them with your unit.

3. Verify Access

Once they’ve registered, they’ll appear in your unit with the role you assigned. They can immediately access features appropriate to their role.

Tips

  • Adults must register with the exact same email you have on file for them
  • If someone registers with a different email, an Administrator can manually link them
  • Parents of scouts can view their child’s profile, advancement, and account balance
  • Multiple adults can be linked to the same scout (e.g., both parents)
