Unit Settings
Overview
Unit settings control your unit’s identity and configuration within Scout Manager.
Required role: Administrator
Accessing Unit Settings
Navigate to Admin → Unit Settings from the main navigation.
Configurable Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Unit name | Your unit’s display name (e.g., “Troop 123”, “Pack 456”) |
| Unit type | Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, or Venturing |
| Council | Your BSA council name |
| District | Your district within the council |
| City / State | Unit location |
| Meeting location | Default meeting place |
| Contact email | Unit’s public contact email |
Tips
- Unit name appears in all emails sent through Scout Manager
- The unit type determines which advancement programs are available (ranks vs. adventures)
- These settings can be changed at any time
